access manager and apache's authentication

Hi!

I'm just curious if anybody before tried to protect/sso apache2 web server with internal ldap connection to AD.
So if i want to log-in to page, apache2 first asks me for credentials and then let me sign in.

and if then is always how 🙂

thank you in advance

Between NAM and Apache2, the easiest way is Basic, not Form.....then NAM just injects the Authentication Header...

There are quite a few steps with configuring Apache2 to use AD LDAPS for authentication, so best to google for that....

Re: access manager and apache's authentication

hi , thanks for your reply , i have managed to get apache2 to use our on premise ldap/Ad.
The problem then is how to configure Access manager to inject and protect it..
Have googled about that but seems that noone wanted to do it yet...
