o365 and Alternate ID

Anyone aware if Access Manager supports what MS refers to as Alternate ID for o365? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/identity/ad-fs/operations/configuring-alternate-login-id Our UPN's are non-routable and I didn't see anything in the docs that mentioned this.

thanks

The way i read this is that they configure ADFS to use email address instead of UPN for the federation to O365 so in NAM you can just simply select a
different attribute in your user store that you want to set as the NameID in the SAML token.
