ART Refresh Resources Instructions

When I try to open any file I have created using ART, either courses or simulations, I get the following error message:  "The file failed to open and may be corrupt.  Please restart the application and try again."

I remember seeing this problem about 6 months ago, and was provided steps to "refresh my resources."  It included renaming a file to -old, recopying my template files, and then launching ART again.  I cannot find my notes with these steps.  Can someone please post them?

Thanks for your instructions.

Prior to performing them, I completed the following steps.

1.  Exit HP ART editor.

2.  Verify you can view hidden files on your computer:

             a. Open your computer Control Panel.

             b.  Search for Folder.

             c. Select View Hidden Folders (to turn this feature on).

3.  Navigate to location where ART is installed.  In my case it was in the Program Files (x86)\HP Adoption Readiness Tool folder. 

4.  Rename the current file by appending it with -old.  In my case I renamed version 5.20 to version 5.20-old.

5.  Launch ART editor.

From there I performed the steps to reimport the template and skin.

Now I'm back up and running.  Thanks.
