AAF Integration with Office 365

I came across a customer that is attempting to deploy AAF in their Azure environment but is worried about the possible transition from Microsoft MFA to AAF.

In essence, currently they have Azure deployed with Microsoft MFA to provide a second factor for authentication in Office 365.

The questions is if it is possible to have Microsoft MFA and Micro Focus AAF running in parallel during the transition period to allow a user to be enrolled on the AAF platform without affecting the current enrollments he/she has in Microsoft MFA? Does the configuration in Azure or O365 allow this? Maybe using groups and where members of Group A would authenticate using Microsoft MFA and members from Group B would authenticate using AAF?
