Warnings in web logs

Jump to solution

Hi

With the covid-19 drive to work from home, the usage of the MFA has climbed dramatically. I now see the errors like this for the first time:

2020-03-26 10:17:36 (UTC+0200) WARNI [aucore.au.ap.smartphone_callback_view] /smartphone/requestsalt/35136E7CB1A43C0CB0A2963DA9E940DC5E0F5C7619F86ED96522B29B9839EEAE: not found

is this something to worry about and what does it mean ?

Thanx

Hi @gogga,

This error is not critical, it might happen when Smartphone app reaches AAF server to validate if authentication needed, steps 6, more details here:

https://www.netiq.com/documentation/advanced-authentication-63/server-administrator-guide/data/smartphone.html

So if authentication is not started on specific server, you may see such error. Such errors happens on clustered AAF environment.
