Aegis LDAP Adapter - Update 1

Aegis LDAP Adapter - Update 1

Welcome to the IQLdap Adapter Update 1 (version

This update adds some cool new features and some updates to work with the new Web Console in Aegis 3.2!

New Features!

Added Oracle Internet Directory as an LDAP Type

This update now allows the LDAP adapter work with Oracle Internet Directory (OID) as well as Active Directory, eDirectory and OpenLDAP. Configuration is the same as other LDAP connection types, a BAse Context is required and the Port Numbers will likely differ from the default port numbers of other directory types.

Updated Adapter for Aegis 3.2 features

Aegis 3.2 has a new Web Console and the IQLdap adapter is updated in order to provide compatibility with it (and remain compatible with previous console). This is specific to the event detail view, which splits event attributes into General, Event Specific and Other Event Attributes. IQLdap specific attributes are displayed in the Event Specific region which makes them easier to find.

Event Definition available in Namespace

User Event definitions, including their last poll time and last event time stamps are now available in the IQLdap Namespace.

These event definitions can also be queried for using the find objects activity, so live event times and polls times are available to workflows.

Updated Event Definition to include additional attributes

IQLdap_Event events now have some additional attributes which can be used in workflows. These are added as specific event types for both the 3.2 console and older console.

Additional attributes include the LDAP Tree which generated the event, the event locator and event creation time.

Yes and there are some Performance Improvements + Bugfixes in there as well.
