Defect ID Starts at 1 / User Story ID Starts at 1000
Defect ID Starts at 1 / User Story ID Starts at 1000 - what happens when you have more than 999 defects submitted - will AGM error with a duplicate ID of 1000?

As these are different object types and are stored on different tables on the DB, there is no risk of collision.

Hi Koby,
If search in the ID field in the product or release backlog for "1000" I will get both the defect and the user story - is this the expected behavior?
Thanks, Deb

Hi Deb,
If your filter is configured to show both defects and user stories than you will get both (in case you have a defect and User story with the same id). if you want to narrow down your search you can filter by type.
Do you see anything wrong with this behavior?
Thanks,
Ido

My user community tends to refer to work by the number associated with it, so it will be confusing to have duplicate numbers. I understand what you are saying about the filter, but knowing my users having to click to set this filter will be an annoyance.
