Question on the AM 9 Task Scheduler Service

Greetings,
We are looking at installing AM 9.1 and I have a question about the Task
Scheduler Service. Does this need to be installed on a separate system
or can it co-exist say with the NQCCDB and CQS?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Chris

Re: Question on the AM 9 Task Scheduler Service

The service does not require it own server. It can be installed on the
same server as the CQS (that is probably the best place since the server
where the CQS runs needs access to all databases, so does the task
scheduler).

You can also have multiple instances of the service - one per
server..... So if you had 40 QDBs (for example) then you may not want to
have one AMTS server for them all, but have 2 or more servers running
the service and split the QDBs between them
