Question on the General_Counter script.

Greetings,
We have a request to monitor specific performance counters across a number of SQL Servers but they all have named instances. We have on the order of 50 unique instances across over 200 hundred servers. Is there a way to place a wild card where the instance name is so we can use one job to measure the counter across all the servers?

For instance, instead of "MSSQL$SQL1:Buffer Partition\Free list empty/sec\*" is there a way to do "*:Buffer Partition\Free list empty/sec\*"? Many thanks in advance for any help.

You should be able to list it as *MSSQL$*:Buffer Partition\Free list
empty/sec\**
