Enterprise Developer is part of the Enterprise Product Suite which allows you to modernize your core mainframe systems. Some of the key capabilities you can expect are:

  • Build and modernize IBM mainframe COBOL and PL/I applications using Visual Studio or Eclipse
  • Streamline development tasks using a fully featured code editor, compiler, debugger and testing environment all without consuming mainframe resources
  • Speed up application testing with a unit test framework, coding standards and code coverage support
  • Access and edit mainframe data including VSAM, QSAM, DB2 and IMS DB formats
  • Modernize your COBOL and PL/I applications by working with the latest database platforms including SQL Server and Azure and exposing core business functions through services

Enterprise Developer is compatible with IBM subsystems such as CICS, IMS TM, IMS DB, Db2 and JES.
