(BSM) Support Tip: Big CI_RESOLVER files generated under \HPBSM\Temp directory

Big files of type: ‘CI_RESOLVER_OMI_wde_*.db’ are being generated under \HPBSM\Temp directory on the Gateway server(s). This is a defect in APM v9.30. The fix was already included into APM v9.40 and currently, there is a hotfix for 9.30 versions available through Software Support. Steps are to deploy the hotfix are: 

  1. Obtain hotfix through Software Support
  2. Stop the APM server(GW & DPS)
  3. Run the .msi installer(in GW & DPS)
  4. Take the back up of Temp directory (<HPBSM root>\Temp)
  5. Delete all CI_RESOLVER_OMI_* files in <HPBSM root>\Temp\
  6. Start the APM servers(DPS & GW)
