Hi Tom, you need to check the logfile \log\jboss7_boot.log, it usually tells you what's wrong, however the hint with the two NICs is a very valid one, so you might wanna check that as well. Greetings Siggi

Hello @tomkool007 ,

Here are few proven solutions:

1) Can you check if HPBSM\conf\bus\jms.configuration.status.properties contains both:
domain.manager.status=configured and message.broker.status=configured

2) Check if there is any other process using 8080

Also, check the logs in below log files

topaz_all.ejb.log/ topaz_all.log
jboss_server.log
boss_boot.log
odb_boot.log

I had the same issue. The issue for me was that the server had 2 NIC cards enabled. There is a bug in BSM 9.26 where JBOSS will not start when the server has two NICs. I disabled one of the NICs and it started up. This is noted in the BSM 9.26 upgrade guide.
