Problem with HP BSM Setup and Configuration Utility (License Page)

Hi

 

I have a problem during my post installation in Setup and Configuration Utility. I can't proceed to the next page which

 

is License. I'm done with creating database (Management, Schema,  BPI..)

 

Then, I try to run dbverify and I see this error:

 

Verifier found failed storage checks:
Problems for user = 'system' ,database = 'BSM_Management' ,host = 'student16' :[TASK ID 156] CHECK MINIMUM SIZE FOR ROLLBACK SEGMENT TABLESPACES --->  TEST FAILED.
    TableSpaces that don't have Min Segment Size of [500 MB] are:
    TableSpace name =[UNDOTBS1 ]
Problems for user = 'BSM_Management' ,database = 'BSM_Management' ,host = 'student16' :[TASK ID 154] CHECK SIZE OF TEMPORARY TABLESPACE OF THE DB --->  TEST FAILED.
    The Temporary Table Spaces of the user are less than [ 500 MB] minimum size

How can i proceed to License? Additional from these, how can i get license code?

How can i fix the error?

Were you able to get something significant from BSM logs? I mean re-work (re-installation) can be tried but let's try to hit the problem bottom line first

Ask the DBA to increase the size of UNDo tablespace & TEMPORARY TABLESPACE OF THE DB to be minimum 500 MB.

Hi

 

Thank you. I have another error and this is:

 

Statistics are missing in the database.  Lack of statistics can affect reports performance and

 

lengthen the upgrade procedure.

 

 

Any ideas?

The statistics is itself a big concept in Oracle. Your DBA can help you for these errors.

I saw on database guide for the solution. Thanks.

 

My only problem is i can't proceed to license page in setup and configuration utility.

 

I don't know why.

Please see attached the screenshot. I can't proceed to the license page. When i click next button, it doesn't.

Delete the databases created earlier with the same utility and re-establish the configuration from scratch.

Is it databases or schemas you are talking about? such as BSM_Management,  BSM_BPI...

Not sure if I could think of the solution but here is what we can check for.

 

1. Get your DBA engaged & troubleshoot the problem

2. Was Table creation a success?

3. Any corruption or issues at DB side?

4. The DB being used a fresh one or it had same BAC configuration before?

5. What does your installation logs say?

6. The privileges being used have all the required rights?

7. Was DB Team involved when Schemas were created?

8. Check with DB Team if any reboot required after you did a clean up (Delete) activity?

Hi

 

As you can see my screenshot above, the tables created successfully.

 

There is no issues or corruption inside the DB.

 

What do you mean a fresh one?

 

Whenever i click next button, there is no pop-up or error message that appears on my window.

 

Yes all rights is being used. It automates when i create schema in Setup and Database Configuration Utility.

 

 

 

What possibly error do you think why i can't proceed to License page?

 

Do you think i need to uninstall it and re-install?
