Sitescope Azure monitoring - need information about Application services group -pre-requisites

Hi team

We are trying to setup Sitescope monitor for Azure environment. In the pre-requisites 2nd step c , we have the below requirement

1. Prerequisites
m Make sure you have the user permissions and credentials required for this monitor as specified
in .
m This monitor is available with all editions except Community edition. Contact your sales
representative for more information.
m A valid subscription to Azure service.
2. Perform the following configuration tasks on the Azure Dashboard.
a. Create an Active Directory or use the default directory.
b. Create a user under the Active Directory and assign the role as Global Administrator.
c. Add the user to the Application Services group under the default directory and assign
permissions to the services. For the Service Management API, you must assign one delegated
permission and for Windows Azure Directory you must assign eight delegated permissions.

Could someone please explain about what this step means and what exactly the Azure Administrators should perform for this step. Azure AD team has informed that they haven't heard about Application services group in Azure AD. Please clarify.

Thanks

Mani

Re: Sitescope Azure monitoring - need information about Application services group -pre-requisites

Hello Manivel,

This steps is regarding to assing all the permission neccessaty to sitescope can run. So in Azure UI you needs to add sitescope as admin and delegate all the permissions requested on the documention and in this way sitesco will be able to monitor the aplication.

if you have any question please don't hesitate in contact me

have a great day

best regards
