User login by ldap authentication

Allow users to access ArcMC, Logger and ESM through ldap authentication and group membership.

Define access rights by the group membership. No local user definition or special rights assignment for those users are expected, thus accepting that for those users no login will be possible if the ldap repository is unavailable.

Adding LDAP authorization via AD group membership to the products is something we have absolutely discussed.  Very interested to get feedback from the community on the importance of this item.  Thank you!

Agreed. This is currently a struggle of ours. Managing users manually through ArcMC,  Logger, or ESM is time consuming. Using AD security groups would be ideal. Most companies have already automated their AD group membership process when users join, change roles, or leave the organization.
