ArcSight Logger API, documentation and examples 2.0!

Submitted by

As an update to the original posts i made for API documentation and examples here:

There is now a final and new version, with all the small bug fixes, feature requests and issues resolved from earlier versions, together with much more new functionality and examples. Thanks for all the good feedback, is has been very valuable!

The release should now be feature complete, and covers 100% of the Logger API.

Any issues you might find can either be posted as a github issue or taken up on this community forums.

Loaded the API for Postman for the Logger Restful services.

Able to get the login (returns the bearer token) and logout working (200 and 204 respectively).

Unable to get the search to work through postman.

Tried the following structure.

https://{theIP}:{port}/server/search.ftl?ehr=1&ausm_query=&from=$Today%20-%201d,$Today&to=$Now  using the bearer token

and I get back a 404 not found.

If anyone understand the logger,  I am new to restful services (more from a DB background).   i.e. provide a string that works, in theory that would allow me to figure out the other examples, though "search" is my primary target.
