Re: ArcMC error: internet connection unavailable

I believe this is a warning that the ArcMC cannot contact "HPE MarketPlace"...

It would be preferable if the "phone home" functionality could be disabled as not everyone has their ArcSight appliances in a network which has access to the "outside world" - indeed our particular environment is not connected to the internet and such attempts to "phone home" by applications (from other vendors too) cause breaches to our firewall rules -  an annoyance which we should have the choice to eliminate!

Re: ArcMC error: internet connection unavailable

Hi Daniel,

In order to resolve this, inside the default location, go to action column drop down and click on update credential and provide the current admin credentials and wait for some time and refresh, still see the error try to restart the services.

If still not received check ArcMC accessibility to internet, proxy or firewall configurations..etc.

This is rather a bit of inconvenient, as out side in the real world, company would rather minimised the possibility to reach out to internet.. Hopefully next version will give us the option to turn off internet connection.
