ArcSight Logger taking long time to start

Hi All,

Please advise for my below issue.

I have installed ArcSight Logger 6 in my Red Hat Linux 5.5 on virtual box.

While i boot up it always takes more to load for below process

"Starting ArcSight Logger : Starting Logger daemon" as attached screenshot.

After several minutes, my session goes to Guru Meditation" state and log file produces "LowHost Memory".

Please share your ideas.

Hi,

Double the amount of RAM used on your virtualbox for the Logger installation. seems like a memory problem.

Hi,

  I found one solution in net which helped me time being.

Instead of opening the VM from Virtual Box GUI, i just double clicked the VM (.vbox file) from Virtual Machines where my VM is located.

Even it works now still expecting some other solutions as well.
