Can't see weblogic access log on the logger

Hi,

I can't read weblogic access log.

This is my situation:

I have an Oracle WebLogic on a connector appliance that read the access log from a nsf directory

For a test I put 3 log file on a mounted folder    /opt/mnt/kom

  access.log00612, access.log00613 and access.log00614

On the Logger, I can't see the log collected. The only messages are:

File processing started                  /opt/mnt/kom/access.log00612

File processing ended: Success    /opt/mnt/kom/access.log00612

File processing started                   /opt/mnt/kom/access.log00613

File processing ended: Success     /opt/mnt/kom/access.log00613

File processing started                   /opt/mnt/kom/access.log00614

File processing ended: Success    /opt/mnt/kom/access.log00614

It seems ok.

On the agent.log and agent.out.wrapper.log I can't see any error or fatal messages.

Any ideas? Any file to check or some test to perform?

UPDATE: on the logger agent.out.wrapper.log I have found:

INFO   | jvm 1    | 2014/04/14 16:26:39 | FATAL EXCEPTION:

INFO   | jvm 1    | 2014/04/14 16:26:39 | Failed to process request from [127.0.0.1] (Not authenticated for method [getSupportedAPIVersion])

Re: Can't see weblogic access log on the logger

Am getting the below error:

"Failed to process request from [127.0.0.1] (Not authenticated for method [getSupportedAPIVersion])"

In my case the am using the latest released connector version: 7.0.5.7132.0 and it is the syslog pipe connector used to extract the Fortigate firewall logs.

The connector get shutdown after the error message. Then we have to manually start the connector.

Re: Can't see weblogic access log on the logger

Guys,

Any luck on your issue. For our implementation Smartconnector is failing to read both logs ( server.log and acccess.log)

Any clue or resolution received from Support?

Re: Can't see weblogic access log on the logger

Hi Guys ,

Am facing the same issue only process started and failed , but i don see anything but internal events .

we used File share to transfer the logs remotely from Weblogic server to Our connector server ( Redhat ) . Kindly let us know if anybody got the fix to it .

Note : i don have any fatal errors in agent .log / wrapper .log

FYI

File processing started                   /opt/mnt/kom/access.log00614

File processing ended: Success    /opt/mnt/kom/access.log00614

Thanks

Re: Can't see weblogic access log on the logger

Did you try giving read write execute permission to the access.log file...as after file processing the file name is modified as access.log.processed .I was also getting logs but after permission changed to read only...logs stopped coming...
