Difference between ArcSight Logger and Recon

Jump to solution

Hello Guys,

I am interested to see the new developments in ArcSight product space. I am interested to see the release of Recon which comes with the promising Vertica backend. However, I am still trying to figure out what is the difference between ArcSight logger and ESM.

Because most of the business value being proposed by both solutions look almost same. Does this mean that logger will be eventually replaced by Recon?

I would love to see some feedback from microfocus folks here.

Also if anybody tried Recon now, please share your experience here.

Best Regards,

Aneesh Salimkumar

To get this thread started,   you may like to take a look at a new article added to our security blog today which discusses Recon and links to a YouTube video that shows you a First Look quick demo at https://youtu.be/Kdrsnh_NPjA

I hope that this is useful,
