Enabling SNMP Trap Forwarding in HP ArcSight ESM 6.0c?

Jump to solution

Hi Folks,

  1. If there are any specific documents on this, it would be great if you could share.
  2. Also need to identify the location of the ArcSight MIB File that may need to be imported in the receiving system and how we can extract it?

Please do advise.

Thanks.

Its all in the admin guide .... all the settings are applied in server.properties. This is typically what we use:

  1. snmp.trapsender.enabled=
  2. snmp.trapsender.uri=
  3. snmp.destination.host=
  4. snmp.destination.port=
  5. snmp.version=
  6. snmp.fields=
  7. snmp.mib.version=

The min file is available on the manager if I remember correctly.

Cheers
