Hi,

is any one have a new IP geolocation source integrated with ESM?

MaxMind changed the DB format and is no longer supported by ESM. we are currently looking for a new source for IP data.

Thanks

Hi

if you have subscription for ContextUpdate then used it. This is the official way to update the information about IP geolocation.

Best Regards,

Daniel

Hi,

The commercial version of the Maxmind databases continues updating the GeoIP Legacy DB (used by ESM) so you can use that. In other case you have to use the ContextUpdate mentioned by @Ionut Daniel Mosoiu

The ipdataV6.mmdb geo file used by the ESM is a "MaxMind database" file format, so yes you can continue to use MaxMind. Just download and use the new format.

As for Legacy format - in our testing, newer versions of ESM seem to ignore the old binary file.
