Get country from IP address

Jump to solution

I have a bunch of IP addresses from a web server. Is it possible to get the country corresponding to these IP addresses? Has anyone tried feeding in IP address ranges / blocks mapped to countries into the SIEM and used it for correlation?

If you have the IP Address populated in the Source / Destination Address field, the ESM will automatically populate the Geo Country Name and other Geo information based on his database (this can be updated using AUP content)

Thanks,

I realise that it has been a while since I laid hands on ArcSight. Memory is rusty.
