How to set connector failover communication

Hello Experts,

I have a forwarding connector on my ESM with a CEF-Syslog as primary destination, in addition I have a failover CEF-Syslog destination as well to the primary one.

Please help with how and what can I configure to generate an email communication everytime my forwarding connector switches the destination (from primary to secondary and vice-versa) ?
