How to view/edit the MS SQL query used for an ArcSight Connector?

Jump to solution

I've been googling and searching this forum, but I have not yet found the answer; there used to be a way to view/edit the actual SQL query the connector sends to the DB.  Can anyone point me to the instructions for how to do that?

Thanks.

Hello,

1) Built in SmartConnector parsers (the files that contain the actual query and mappings) are obfuscated so you will not be able to see it.

2) ArcSight FlexConnector Developer's Guide:
https://community.softwaregrp.com/t5/ArcSight-Connectors/ArcSight-FlexConnector-Developer-s-Guide/ta-p/1584874?nm=

3) Above guide covers the FlexConnector which is basically a guide how to make your parser. Using this you make your own parser that contains your specific query and you map it accordingly.

4) For your purpose you will want to check DB FlexConnector Types:
a) ID-Based Database
b) Time-Based Database

Thanks.  I forgot that those were obfuscated.
