Installing two forwarding connectors on the same ESM

Hi,

I am trying to install two forwarding connectors on the same ESM.

Reason for this is we want to apply a different set of filters for the different destinations.

The only issue I run into is a service name conflict.

I just need to rename the existing service so the second install can complete.

Can do this manually, but want to do it cleanly so it works.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Samer

Re: Installing two forwarding connectors on the same ESM

Hi Samer ,

Instead of doing this , why not consider use this one FC to forward to one SC and then use this SC to forward X number of destination  you required ?

Option yes but FWconn can only forward so many events and work efficiently.

Think about pushing 5000 EPS through one FWconn versus pushing 2500 through 2
