Issue in collecting logs - IBM WebSphere

Dear All,

I've issue in collecting logs of IBM WebSphere, i used software connector installed on windows 2008 server and mapped the log files (shared) on particular drive and provided the required information in connector installation parameters...

Once i started the connector - logs were not collecting , logs shows - "access id denied"

In addition, in Instance ID - parameter what value needs to give ? I used " localhost " as default which mentioned in config guide.

attached agent.log for reference., pls share if any once faced and solved the issue..

Issue solved , after providing full access to the user (connector running by) for the shared ibm log files,,,

Hi Santosh,

What access you provided to the user. I am also facing the same issue, but the user already have all the privileges.Please let me know what steps you follow in order to figure this out.

we are facing similar access issues

I try to use full Log File Path like this and not get error message "Access is denied"
