Logger Rest API: Collecting search results before search finishes

When a search is being executed, can offsets for hits change as more hits are added to the result set?

The concern is the item located at offset zero at the start of the search may no longer be at offset zero when the search finishes.

However if offset never changes, it means we can begin grabbing results before the search completes, resulting in a modest performance gain.

Re: Logger Rest API: Collecting search results before search finishes

I would recommend collecting the events after the search has finalized. Unfortunately I cannot promise that the offset wont change, especially with a logger pool for example.
