Multiple tokens for submessage id definition

Hi all.

Is this possible specify multiple tokens for submessages? I have tried the following but this doesn't work:

submessage.messageid.token=token1,token2

submessage[0].messageid=token1value,token2value

or

submessage.messageid.token=__concatenate(token1,token2)

submessage[0].messageid=token1valuetoken2value

Hi,

I don't think so you can do that.

Giving two values to a single ID is not possible. Create seperate submessages for each token. And if there are different types of log formats under each token you can define as many parsers respectively.

Regards,

Sumanth.

Agree with Sumanth. What you are proposing is not possible. If you can post sample logs on what you are tyring to do, I can take a look and see what I can do.

thanks,

Hi,

I would advise to use __regexToken option. In most of my flexconnectors this has replaced almost all my submessages.

Read into it in the flexdevelopment guide or post a couple of unique sample strings to I can give you an example.
