You can delete the old files however if you delete them you wont be able to view these events after their retention period has passed

To change the location of the archive files login to the web console

go to

Administration

Storage and Archive

Select the default storage group

Click on edit

Change in the Archive Location tab the path to your new SAN\NAS mount

Hit Enter (wont work without it)

Click Save

You will also need to change this parameter on this file or else the NAS/SAN limit will still be 200GB

/opt/arcsight/logger/userdata/logger/user/logger/logger.properties

logger.archive.space.allocated-in-gb=XXX

Afterwards restart all the services

Best regards

David

Hello Tony by default this folder is limited to a 200GB size you can increase that value but the archives will still be saved on your ESM machine which isn't a good solution in case of a server malfunction The preferred solution is to change the folder location to an offline storage (SAN/NAS) You can change the archive folder location via the web console Best regards David
