SWIFT Confusion and Clarification

Jump to solution

Hi All

A company's requirement is to be able to collect SWIFT events. However, no further information about anything else. So I'm quite confused in that regard..

I've seen some people using Syslog FlexConnectors, some others SNMP FlexConnectors for SWIFT.

Does anybody have experience with SWIFT and can tell me what are the components of the SWIFT System and what can be logged (or what not)?

The other possibility is that with SWIFT the Apple iOS Programming Language is meant, however, that's probably not the case..

Thanks!

Swift running on Windows writes a CEF string into the Windows application log, the way we got around this was to set deviceCustomString1 to the CEF string and then use a CSV destination to write out just this field to the CSV then read that file with a second CEF File connector. If Swift is running on Linux then it's easy as it logs CEF to the local syslog and you can just forward this to any Syslog connector.
