ArcSight Command Center - Inactivity time out settings???

I really like the webUI from new ESM6.5p1 and during event investigation I prefer to use that instead of the console.

How can I change the timeout settings for the ArcSight Command Center?

It is annoying, to login again and again every 15min inactivity...

I already changed the timeout for the ArcSight Web, but it seams to me, that this does not have any impact on the ArcSight Command Center.

PLS help

Thanks

I'll hop on this train as well. I have several people asking this question.

Re: ArcSight Command Center - Inactivity time out settings???

OK I go this from Support:

Try adding the following property to <Manager Home>/config/server.properties:

service.session.timeout=<time in seconds>

(default value should be 900 seconds = 15 minutes)

So far I'm past the 20 minute mark so seems to work.

Cheers,

Thanks Samer.

I adjusted /opt/arcsight/manager/config/jetty/server.xml from 15 to 60, but that did not seem to work. I'll give this one a try!

You just have to be aware, that if you are under PCI Compliance demands, there is a requirement for a 15 minute timeout on the session (PCI DSS requirement 8.5.15).
