ESM 6.5c startup services

Hi Guys

I have recently installed 6.5c on linux server, it's been running perfect for the first few days. for some reasons  something I can't explain has happened to the Linux server where some arcsight files went missing , The Linux team managed to get most of the missing files back. But now my major is problems is that most of the arcsight components are failing to start. such as web , logger and manager services. Please advice what I should do to restart the services. The manager services go from  initializing to unavailable when I attempt to start it.   I have checked the services.logs but theres no error messages.

Regards

Check your log file <ArcSight home>manager/logs/default/server.std.log

This should be letting you know what is happening as the services are trying to start, the java garbage collector, and other things.  Look there and i am sure it will let you know what is missing and why.

look into what services are started too by /etc/init.d/arcsight_services status so you can narrow down your troubleshooting too.
