Information on a rule needed

Hi,

I want to create rule with the condition on a proxy appliction. If the bytes-in or a bytes-out cross a threshold of 500 MB within a day from a single user an notification should be triggered.

I want this to be trigged as soon as a user has reached the threshold irrespective of the time on that day.

I am not able to figure out what condition should be given in the Actions tab of the rule.

Please let me your suggestions on this.

Regards,

Chinthan JP

Hi Volker,

I haven't tried this out. I am not able to figure out, how can I use the moving average data monitor.

Re: Information on a rule needed

Hi Chinthan!

Moving average datamonitor count sums, for example, of values in fields of events matching datamonitor filter. Also Datamonitor can create events if counted value excedd given v alue. So I attached .arb with such datamonitor.
