Logger compression

Hi All,

I have a logger apliance L3200 running ArcSight version 4.0.

What I would like to know is; how can I enable a compression on the box or is it predefined and already enabled. I believe its 10:1 but not sure if I can customise it or edit those parameteres anywhere, can I ?

Also, is is possibel to logon to the logger with standard linux shaell and bypass that logger prompt?

Re: Logger compression

As far as I know, there is no supported way to modify the compression ratio used by Logger.

There is a way to access the shell directly, but you'll have to open a support ticket and follow an activation code procedure.
