Multi url support and remove ssl founction for web

Hi:

Q1:

I want to set up 2 URLs 2 certificate to access same express server’s
https 9443 port.  For example:

https://a.com:9443 (use a Certificate)

https://b.com:9443 (use b Certificate)

a.com ( express ipaddress:192.168.1.1 )

b.com( express ipaddress:192.168.1.1)

I try the ./arcsight keytoolgui command.create 2 keystore. but it doesn’t work.

Q2:

Can I remove the SSL functionality from logger https and express https?

Use http to access the logger and express?

How can I do this~?

Please help me.

Thank u .

Re: Multi url support and remove ssl founction for web

Hi,

using 2 certificates on the same address:port is only possible with a relatively new TLS feature called SNI (server name indication) which the old java crypto stack probably doesn't support.

But you can get a certificate with subject alternate names and put this into the keystore. You would have CN=a.com and SAN:DNS entries for a.com and b.com. This should make it work for both names.

I don't know how to switch off SSL.
