Hi,

How can I change NTP server settings on ArcSight Express?

Re: NTP Arcsight Express Settings

Same as a regular RHEL server.

You just need to modify the conf file:

vi /etc/ntp.conf

Then add or edit the servers there:

server <ntpservername>

Restart the service:

service ntpd restart

Ensure it is enabled:

chkconfig ntpd on

Hope this helps.

Samer

Re: NTP Arcsight Express Settings

Carlo,

Apart of the solution given by Samer, you have another one.

If you have the ILO configured, you can access the GUI of Express through ILO, and then on the upper right corner, you will see the clock. There, you can configure what you want.

Re: NTP Arcsight Express Settings

Hello

Another way is login to manager Console and stop all services at first ,then run managersetup and change the NTP.
