Q: Connector App - how to dump the cache and get on with life?

I'm getting back into Arcsight after an absence.

I understand its nessecary to get at the root cause, but for practical purposes, when the cache is hopelessly behind and there is no point of trying to catch up,  what is the easiest method to simply dump cache on a Connector Appliance?

On a stand alone connector, I remember going in, shutting down the appliance, and then purging a directory.

Ideally, there should be a connector level, or destination level command option to do so, but I do not see any on the ConnApp. Nor do I see any on the recieving side (ESM or Logger)   (To clarify, this is the HARDWARE connector appliance.)

And even to do so manually, reviewing the Connector Diagnostic tools, I see no way to delete files.

Hopefully, I'm simply blind or stupid, and have missed the obvious.   Because I don't consider deleting and rebuilding the destination an acceptable solution.
