Time estimates for Database defragmentation?

Sort of surprised this isn't mentioned in the KB or admin guide, but since the Logger has to be in a non-functional state (maintenance mode) in order to do the DB defrag, can anyone share what sort of time period I'm looking at for A 7400X with 3/4TB's in use? All of my events flow through a Logger heirarchy before reaching the manager, so being able to determine the downtime is a big deal.

Also, anyone ever had any problems or know of associated risks?

Re: Time estimates for Database defragmentation?

It will provide you with a time estimate when you go through the defrag wizard. I have found the estimate it gives is usually pretty accurate. If I remember correctly it provides the time estimate before you commit to the defrag so you can still cancel out at the end.

That's right. In fact, u can even terminate the job the way thru if need be. Not saying its recommended, just that it's possible.
