What is the use of "Adding New Archived Reports" on ArcSight Web on ESM 5.*

Hi,

Can anyone explain me the significance of provide upload archive reports functionality on ESM Web?

If you go to ESM web and in reports section look into archived reports. Next to the option of download archive report there is also an option to upload the report. This opting of upload report looks like a functionality offered on web. There is also a documentation topic explaining user can upload the report. The documentation is with title "Viewing Archived Reports" subtile "Adding New Archived Report".

Using this opting if you upload a report it will be saved on server.

ArcSight esm consol does not offer such functionality. I am wondering what is the purpose of this functionality on web? Can it be removed/restricted?

It can also be harmful for server because if user upload a virus or malicious code.
