Windows Domain Controller Events

Just a heads up, I noticed that we were not getting events from all of our DC's in ArcSight even though I had verified I was getting events when I first added the servers into the connector.  We had built a dedicated WUC for our DC's and I recently noticed a gap for different DC's at different times.  If I stopped the connector service, cleared the agentdata cached folder and restarted the service I would get events for all the DC's but as time went by one or more would stop getting events into AS.  I opened a support ticket and it turned out to be an agent.properties setting change to resolve the issue.

PLEASE NOTE: the second parameter, eventpollcount has one entry for each server so you need to make the change for every server in the agent.properties file.

modify the parameters below in the agent.properties file located at <ARCSIGHT_HOME>/current/user/agent directory ?

agents[0].sleeptime=1000 (by default is -1)
agents[0].windowshoststable[0].eventpollcount=300 (by default is 50)

Restart the service after saved the file.
