rule action : Execute Connector Command - where's the output?

Jump to solution

Hello,

I'm triggering an 'Execute Connector Command' on a specific connector. The command "techsupport.Get Configuration XML File" does successfully execute. (ExecuteAgentCommand: Success, ). The "Device Custom String3.Parameters" shows: "{ID=3Tfl0NzQBABCfOrDkQ47PwA==, AgentCmdXML=<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Command Group="techsupport" Name="getconfigurationxml"/>
, URI=/All Connectors/Site Connectors/xxx/xxx_Internet/xxx-01.local/bluecoat-sg_con-xxxx01}"

But where has that xmlfile gone?

Thanks,

el mejor ajo

Hi el mejor ajo,

that particuliar connector command, "Get Configuration XML File", does not really create a file.

Instead, it reads a file located in your connector installation folder and presents it to you thru the console. But that doesn't work for rule actions.

The .xml file your're looking for is located in your connectors \current\user\agent directory and is named after the connectors ID.

Cheers,

Christian
