Jump to solution

Hello Experts,

I have requirement on one of my client location is to create cascaded form.

Cascading is the operation of automatically populating a form element with options based on a previous selection. In my scenario, I have 2 masters form Application and Company.

If suppose I select company in dropdown element it should automatically displays all the listed applications related to that Comapny.

Can anyone guide me how to achive this.

Hello,

I had achieved this by using database cursor concept, tried to written the script in AM front end but it takes to long to process which is not the acceptable solution.

Database cursor / triggers are the best solution to achieved any level of customization/ automation in Asset Manager tool.

Thanks,

Reagrds,

Pooja

Hi Poojam,

The only place that will work is in a wizard, and even then only in the Windows client. The Web Client wizards are not fully dynamic and would require user interaction in order to cause a cascade.
