Getting blank warnings while opening asset manager client and designer.

Hi ,

After i integrated a customisation through asset manager designer , I started getting these blank warnings in both client and designer (as shown in attachment warning.jpg ) . So i enabled adb logs from the edit / options to see what could be the possible reason for these warnings and i got this result:

Execute the statement in the adblog directly on the database; a result similar to below is expected:

SQL> SELECT USERENV('LANGUAGE') FROM dual;

USERENV('LANGUAGE')
----------------------------------------------------
AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252

If it does not work, please report the complete environment details including Asset Manager version & build number and the exact customization steps performed. If this is a production instance you may want to restore the database from backup taken before the change.

Hi ,

I tried running this statement from the database and i get the same result : AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252

Yes this is a production database ,I tried to restore the changes back by integrating the customisation with the back up xml that i took before the deployment but it didn't help.

According to me the possible reason for getting this error is I didn't unshare the sharedviews before making changes in the designer.

Thanks,

Hi Supriya,

I think you'll have to open an AM ticket, and provide us with a either a copy of the database (preferred) or an export of the structure.

Hi all ,

I was able to resolved the above error. It seemed that the reason for getting those warnings was not unsharing the shared view before ingetrating the customisation from database designer so I had screensets as views in the database designer and these were not present as "shared views " in the client , As a result of ingrating customisation , All the shared views became unshared ones . So to remove this discrepency, Firstly I deleted all the views ( screen in designer)  from database designer and then from ac client , shared the views that i needed to share one by one and got rid of those blank warnings.

Thanks a lot everyone,

Supriya
