Site Licences

Hi,

Does anyone know how to deal with site licences in the Software Compliance
module, ie software that you buy one licence for, but are permitted to use
it on any PC belonging to a site (or company)?

Thanks,

Iain

Has your problem been resolved? If not, you might try one of the following options:

- Check all of the other support tools and options available at http://support.novell.com in both the "free product support" and "paid product support" drop down boxes.
- You could also try posting your message again. Make sure it is posted in the correct newsgroup. (http://support.novell.com/forums)

Re: Site Licences

Iain -

I would simply put an impossibly large number (for your organization) of
entitlements into a license purchase record. You still want to count the
number of installations and the usage thereof for the next round of
negotiating the site license. Your reports would never show you as out of
compliance, but you could still drill down for details and include it in a
report of other software products that are not site-licensed.
