Custom Table Fields not editable from the web client

We have built a custom table and screen which is tied to the  portfolio items table.  The fields on this screen are editable from the Windows Client but when in the Web Client, the fields are greyed out.  Any ideas on what is causing this issue would be great.

Did you shut down your web app server, run the "Check definitions" wizard, delete the cache (if necessary, depending on web app server), then restart it?

I shut down the tomcat services and ran 'check definitions', found no errors.  I also cleaned out the E:\Tomcat 8.5_Tomcat8WS\work\Catalina\localhost folder and then started the services again.  Fields are still grayed out.  Any other ideas maybe?
