bulk import of documents

please let me know can we bulk import of documents for multiple assets instead of adding one by one.suppose there are ten assets and we want different documenst to attach each of the DOC with the help of bulk import or if there are 10 assets we want to attach 10 same documents to 10 assets at one go is it possible pls let me know

Yes.  Use the import module or write an action script using AmImportDocument() function.

Hello, can you past some hint how to import bulk of documents using Import module in AM? I'm able create records in am Documents table, hovewer there is no link do amDocBlob available so documents are not realy stored in DB. Thanks.

Import file should have the following (at minimum):  Asset data-unqiue identifier (ie, AssetTag), Document 'Table (DocObjTable)' (ie. amAsset), Document 'Designation (Designation)', 'Data (blbData)'.  The blbData will have the file name and path (where the contents can be found).  The import module will start from 'Documents (amDocument)' table.  Use the bottom middle button (ie. Map by Name) to have the import module auto-map source columns to target column.  This will take care of the blbData by creating a "File" calculated field.  No need to use amImportDocument().
