3rd Party MDR Integration vs UD license for VMs

Hello,

We're using 3rd party integration license to pull data about Windows computers from SCCM. Integration permits populating of any amount of data from single MDR - we've populated about 2000 Windows servers form SCCM.

We alos run UD (Full) discovery against vCenter. We discovered ~100 physical ESX hosts and ~500 VMs running on those hypervisors. We don't run any kind of discovery againts VMs discovered from vCenter. However some of those VMs run Windows OS, hence they were populated from SCCM.

Should those VMs consume UD Full license? In license consumption report, we can see that ~600 UD Full licenses are used. ~100 licenses consume physical ESX hosts (which is ok) and ~500 licenses consume VMs populated from SCCM. Is this correct? I thought, that if we don't discover VM detalis with UD, then it shouldn't consume UD license.

kind regards
