Adding ESXi Server to oidToHostClass.XML

I'm having some trouble adding an oid to the hostclass xml.  I get the following error when running an SNMP discovery:

<< Progress message, Severity: Warning>>
No host class defined for oid: '1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.4.1'. Please add a corresponding rule, with the class type as its output to the rule engine.
SNMP description: VMware ESXi 5.1.0 build-1065491 VMware, Inc. x86_64

Would the correct entry look like the following?

<oidToHostClass class="vmware_esx_server" vendor="VMware, Inc." oid="1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.4.1" />

Re: Adding ESXi Server to oidToHostClass.XML

Hello Adam,

What version of ucmdb and CP are you using?

The entry would work for ucmdb 9.0x.

You also could add the model attribute.

In ucmdb 10.01 CP12 you would need to add the entries on the Adapter Manager > Normalization Rules > Configuration Files, and create you custom set of rules.

Re: Adding ESXi Server to oidToHostClass.XML

This still does not work. Is it possible for me to do discovery of ESXi 5.1 using uCMDB 9.05 CUP 10.304 DDM CP 11.06.769?
