Any harm in disabling vsyscalls on RHEL7?

Our server admins will be disabling vsyscalls on RHEL7 as per security/hardening recommendations.  However, a review of system logs shows the discusge process initiating a vsyscall.  Does anyone know if disabling vsyscall has any adverse affects to the scanning and/or utilization data collection?  Or are the agents/scripts robust enough to employ alternate methods if they detect vsyscall is disabled on the server?
